"Venturing into some of Australia’s most remote regions, I explore deserts, lakes, rivers and forests to photograph landscapes and seek solace and serenity in ancient lands and unexpected places. 

 

Colour, light, and painterly textures resonate to expose the beauty and romance of rugged locations, particularly when captured from an aerial perspective, or unfamiliar scale to create abstract compositions.

 

I have been told my works often resemble dreamscapes. They capture memories of how these places make me feel, resulting in an emotional, surreal quality at times. 

 

From the red earth of Uluru, spectacular salt lakes of South Australia and the mystical rivers of Tasmania, my aim is to invite you to make a connection with our natural world and see something extraordinary through my eyes.
