My story
From a successful career as an Art Director and Designer, to the quiet, remote corners of the wilderness to capture the soul of the Australian landscape. My journey has always been about the power of the visual.
Based in Melbourne, I am a Photographic Artist dedicated to capturing the emotion of a landscape rather than just its geography.
My work lives in the space between memory and reality, where I venture into nature to find the intricate patterns in trees, the shifting textures of landforms, and the moody palettes of the outback. Back in my studio, I translate these moments into "dreamscapes"—evocative pieces designed to bridge the gap between what we see and how we feel.
My compositions are underpinned by design-led observations into pattern, form, and carefully crafted colour palettes, distilling the visual essence of the land. My intention is to transform the physical terrain into a space for contemplation. I'm translating the impression of a location into a personal narrative.
This painterly approach to photography has been showcased in my solo exhibitions, including Shifting Impressions (2025), Outback and Beyond (2023), and Mountain Ash – Standing Tall (2021). My work is a regular fixture art events such as The Other Art Fair in Sydney and Melbourne, the Affordable Art Fair, and other shows including Prelude - a group exhibition at the prestigious Australian Galleries, Melbourne.
My commitment to the craft has been recognised through esteemed local and international accolades. Recently shortlisted for the 2026 Omnia Art Prize, I have also been awarded Gold and Silver at the Prix de la Photographie, Paris (PX3), and received a Special Commendation in the Art Edit Self-Represented Art Prize. My photography has been featured in The Weekend Australian Magazine and Capture, and is held in private collections across Australia, the United States, and Europe.
More than just a photograph, each artwork is an invitation to see the beauty of nature through my eyes—revealing a vibrant, transformative world of abstractions in the landscape you may not have noticed before. I take a deep sense of pride in seeing my work find its final home, creating a lasting visual and emotional connection within a collector’s space.
